i LOVE this series. i know in my own writing i have so much trouble when it comes to writing about more than one or two characters, so i am in complete awe of your ability to work with so many characters at once and keep them all vibrant and interesting and super fun to read. i love the plot twist with brent, and i love how everyone is basically hot for chad, and he still just only has eyes for ryan. for some reason i can picture him calling ryan "cutie" so vividly in my head and the image makes me squeal with delight!!

oh man, and the end. SO PERFECT. chad and ryan in their own little world, just completely content with one another. it's awesome, and a perfect line to end it. this piece was also really humorous and super light on the angst which, i'll admit, is awesome because i'm really not a super huge fan of the angst. especially because the angst in canon hsm is so lame, so its kind of hard for me to be interested in serious issues with these characters. i just want to see them hanging out and laughing together! which they are here, and it's adorable!

amazing amazing story!

Thank you! I truly feel unequal to such praise for something I literally just threw together, but thank you very much for your kind words. Working with a lot of characters isn't that hard if they're clearly defined and well-fleshed out. My stories are character-driven so they have to be three-dimensional.

I've been wanting Brent to resurface and this was the ideal venue. He's the only one hot for Chad--Ryan was as cool as a cucumber. ;)

I'm not big on angst, although a little tension is essential for almost any story. There has to be some sort of conflict to resolve or the story just falls flat. Alternatively, humor can do the same thing. I'm not a fan of big angst unless there's clearly a big payoff (a good example would be Boy Disease) to make it worthwhile. There will be a bit of angst in the next piece, but I'm guaranteeing a happy ending because nothing seems to fase those two. ;)

Thank you again for all the love! <3<3<3
